PART III: Regulation and control

 

Next to physical changes to the building or its environment, like previous parts handled, there are other parameters and measures that can be undertaken to influence comfort and energy consumption.

These measures include the monitoring of systems to validate if the performance of installations live up to the set-up goals for comfort and energy, different controlling strategies to use energy in a more efficient way, but also the perception of comfort and how it can be achieved.
